End of School Checklists!

Returning Families:

• Scholars should keep any school equipment including Chromebooks, VR headsets, etc. Please store them in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight.
• On the last day of school, scholars will be removed from their current class/group in ENGAGE and moved into a new class/group for the summer. Learning opportunities will be available to maintain VR skills. Scholars are encouraged to log in to their VR headsets every 2-3 weeks to keep their headsets updated.
• If you have not selected your scholars’ 23 – 24 courses, please do so HERE.
• Please check with your district in mid-July to confirm that your scholar(s) are registered as a homeschool learner. If you have not filled out the Home Learner form yet, please do that now.
• Class schedules for the 23 – 24 school year will be sent before the school year starts. If needed, you will have an opportunity to make changes.
• View our Summer Reading Lists. Required readings are marked with an asterisk.
• Our Parent Book Club will be reading The Scarlet Pimpernel. If you are interested in joining, please contact Kim Abel.
• In August before school starts, we will have an Orientation and Social Hour for scholars. Information with dates and times will be sent out in our newsletter and posted on the OAO Parent Connect Facebook group.

For Scholars Not Returning:

• If your scholar is not planning to return to OAO, please let the Front Office know so we can provide UPS labels for school equipment. PLEASE NOTE: We will not be able to withdraw your scholar from OAO until we receive notification from their new district requesting records.
