Engage Access – Our VR Platform
We’re thrilled to introduce Engage, our immersive virtual reality platform, which will enhance your learning experience over the initial weeks. Here’s how to get started:
On a Desktop Computer:
- Ensure that your computer meets the minimum hardware requirements to run Engage.
- Download the Engage App onto your computer here and install it.
- Log in with your Engage Credentials. Remember to check the “Remember Me” checkbox to save your login information.
On Your Own VR Headset:
- Ensure your headset is connected to Wi-Fi. If you face issues connecting, move closer to your Wi-Fi router and retry.
- Download the Engage App on your VR headset.
- Open the Engage App on your VR headset.
- Log in with your ENGAGE credentials. Save your login information to avoid typing your password every time.
On a VR Headset from Optima Academy Online:
- Ensure your headset is connected to Wi-Fi. If you encounter Wi-Fi issues, move closer to your router and try again.
- Open the Engage app on your VR headset.
- Log in with your Engage credentials. If not saved, remember to click the “Remember Me” checkbox.
VR Headset and Engage Credentials:
If you haven’t received your child(ren)’s Engage credentials or are still awaiting your VR headset, please email the Helpdesk at firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to mention your specific issue: you have not received your Engage credentials or you have not received your VR headset from us.
Recommended Care of Equipment:
To ensure your VR headset remains in optimal condition, we recommend:
- Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures.
- Do not allow direct sunlight on the headset lenses.
- Store it in a clean, dry place.
- Clean the lenses and exterior gently with a microfiber cloth.
- Use a protective case when not in use.
Canvas Access – Our Learning Management System
- Visit https://optimadomi.instructure.com
- Log in with your Canvas credentials.
For those without Canvas access, please email the Helpdesk at email@example.com. Be sure to mention that you have not received your Canvas credentials.
