Understanding the Enrollment Process

Whether adding to your home learner program, supplementing your school schedule, or using an ESA for courses, Optima Academy Online has worked hard to make the enrollment process as seamless as possible for your family.

Starting with our course selection form, our enrollment process is simple and easy with support from our admissions and enrollment team every step of the way.

Register for Courses:

Start by selecting the courses you wish to pursue at Optima Academy.

Select up to six courses to enroll your child.

Complete SchoolMint Application:

**Note for Out-of-State scholars and Scholarship Recipients: Out-of-State scholars and scholarship recipients are exempt from this step.** 

Fill out your application using our user-friendly platform, SchoolMint.

To complete your application you will need:

1. Child’s Birth Certificate
2. Two Proofs of Residence
3. Copy of Parent ID

Attend Mandatory Orientation:

Join us for a crucial orientation session to familiarize yourself with Optima Academy. 

• Invitation links will be sent during the week of Orientation.

Embark on Your School Journey:

With your application and orientation completed, you’re all set to commence your educational adventure at Optima Academy. 

• Our school team will collaborate with families during orientation week to ensure a smooth start for classes.

For any inquiries regarding course payment for ESA (Educational Savings Account) recipients, please feel free to contact our enrollment department at oao-registrar@optimaed.com. We’re here to assist you!

Provide Proof of Funds:

1. Submit the necessary proof of state-awarded funds to confirm your scholarship.

Begin Your Schooling:

Once your scholarship is verified and orientation is completed, you’re all set to commence your education at Optima Academy.
