Yes, this is an option. If you would still like to take LIVE courses through Optima Academy Online, you would stay registered as a homeschooler and enrolled through OAO. You would therefore be unable to use any awarded funds through Step Up for Students.  

Please make sure you’ve filled out the OAO Course Enrollment Form for your child AND have applied through SchoolMint, to complete the documents required for enrollment: click HERE. SchoolMint is our Student Information System which we use to track grades and credits needed for district reporting.  

• You will be asked to complete a few forms and upload the documents listed below: 

• Child’s Birth Certificate 
• Two Proofs of Residence 
• Copy of Parent ID
